Now This Is Different

This is one of the most unique and unusual subjects I've photographed in a long time.  As I was exploring the small Eastern Shore of Virginia town of Exmore, I happened by this building, saw the furniture and other items out front and decided it was worth exploring.  Only then did I see that this is a church.  Yes, a church.  A bit different from any church I've seen in the past.  In fact, the building is a church and thrift store combined.

These kinds of subjects are one of the reasons I enjoy getting off the main roads, exploring small towns and finding subjects that others just don't get to see.  If you don't get off the main roads, you are probably missing unique aspects of America.
