My Annual Wildlife Long Weekend; Part III

In mid-December a couple of friends and I made our annual trek to Virginia's and Maryland's Eastern Shore to photograph wildlife.  Even though the primary reason for the trip was wildlife, that doesn't mean I don't keep my eyes peeled for other subjects of interest.  You can find out more about the weekend and view additional images if you take a look at my original post about that weekend here and the second post containing more images here.  This will be the final post on this particular trip.

Just a note to say I cannot express adequately in words alone how a long weekend, with close friends, sharing common interests, great food, conversation, humor, camaraderie and just hanging out together is for my well-being and probably everyone's as well.  These kinds of activities are so satisfying and uplifting, at least for me.  I recommend these kinds of activities whether photographing, fishing, hunting (with a camera, of course!) playing cards, riding motorcycles, bowling or any other group activity.  In my case not only did I enjoy the long weekend, but I also came home with some very satisfying images. What’s not to like?

I hope you enjoyed looking at my images as much as I did making them.  It turned out to be a great long weekend.  The combination of good friends, wildlife, landscapes and "interesting" light, I was pleased with the images I brought home.
