Uno Virginia; Don't Blink!

You know how here in the United States it is pretty standard to have signs on and along the interstate highway system in that same shade of green?  You know that color green.  You've seen it a million times.  That green also is used in many parts of the country on signs that designate when entering a city or town.

In the photo above, if you look closely at the top of the closest porch support column, you can see the official sign designating the town limits of Uno, Virginia

Now look at the image below at the same styled sign on the opposite side of the porch also at the top of the column.  See the same sign?  At this point I have to assume this building is the entire town of Uno.  That's it!  Also, you will find Uno on the map.  Check Google maps and you will find it.  It is actually an officially designated place.

I believe that Uno is the smallest town I've ever visited.  Not the quickest I've been through as I dallied here for about 15 minutes making photographs.  That said, there wasn't a lot to see but it made for an interesting stop and put a smile on my face.

This would be an ideal place to use the common phrase that goes, "Move on.  Nothing here to see!"

Discovering Uno is another example of why you should get off the interstate highways, take the backroads and keep you eyes wide open to your surroundings.  Many times it is the little things make life more interesting.
