Sometimes Photography Is Simple

The other morning I stepped out into my driveway to see this.  Nothing special.  Simple beauty.
A reminder of how beauty is all around us if we take the time to see.  (click to enlarge)

Sometimes, just stepping through your door early on an autumn morning, you are greeted with simple beauty that compels you to make a photograph.

Seeing the morning sun glistening off the dew, the wonderfully shaped and perfectly placed small rolling hills as well as the long shadows raised my spirits for the day.  I found myself being thankful for just being able to see such a simple and pleasing scene while starting my day.

Many people would have stepped out, gotten into the car and driven off, never seeing a scene such as this.

Photographs don’t have to be of majestic grand landscapes to be pleasing and meaningful.  Photographs are everywhere if you practice seeing.
