The past week has been a pleasant change from the dreariness and cold of winter. “Spring has sprung,” as I have heard it phrased. The other morning, being sunny but cool and very pleasant, I decided to take a quick walk in the small downtown area of the town in which I live. I guess I just wanted to enjoy a spring morning and see what signs of spring I could see.
I grabbed my camera and a lens and spent about 45 minutes just wandering and walking up one side of the main street and back down the other, enjoying the colors and refreshing feeling of the season. The cherry trees were blossoming, the redbuds were blooming and lots of flowers were showing new color.
Here are a few of the images I made. I hope you enjoy them.

Nice photo walk, Dennis! What town is that?
ReplyDeleteThank you. Last year we move to the town of Smithfield, Virginia. Population about 8500. Very nice, peaceful and quiet! A nice change from where I used to live, Newport News, where I was the chief of police. Population of about 185,000.
