You would think in our modern, sophisticated, so-called advanced civilization that we would no longer be adding to these graves. But, alas, that is not the case and, I fear, never will be. Sad. Sad for all of humanity.
So, we carve out a day to honor and remember those who paid the ultimate price in service to their country. My thanks and appreciation can never be enough to repay these men and women.
