Short Winter Road Trip

Foggy morning on the James River.  This old wooden deadrise oyster boat sat idly the morning I made this image
as the fog had reduced visibility to about 1/4 mile (.4 km).  It made for a perfect photographic subject.  (click to enlarge)

My wife and I made a quick road trip to Florida on New Year’s Day for the imminent wedding of our niece.  We will return home shortly.  In lieu of a regular informative post today, I will substitute this post and include an image I made just before the first of the year.  I’ll resume my normal posts before the week is out.
