Another from my winter archives.  

A simple shadow of a tree diagonally across the snow is one part of this scene that attracted my attention, but the texture of the snow and its slight undulations visible only because the sunlight coming from opposite the position of the camera was also an important part of the mood of the scene for me.  Lines, forms, textures, subtleties, delicacy.
