My third, and may I say, final copy of the Fujifilm X-T1 is on the way, safely in the hands of United Parcel Service. Currently, the camera sits in Laurel, Maryland at the UPS facility. They estimate that I will get it by the end of the day on Tuesday.
As I wrote, this will be my final copy of this camera. I have had two defective copies and I'm certainly willing to give Fujifilm one last chance to get me a copy that is fully functional. However, if this one is not 100%, I'm done with them. I'll go back to the E-M1 and the M4/3 format and chalk up this dalliance with the X-T1 as lessons learned.
I really want to put this camera to the test of my photography, from landscapes to nature, to miscellaneous found urban and country scenes, macro subjects to trains coming at me as fast as 79 mph (127 kph). I wish tomorrow was Tuesday as I have been very patient in waiting to use this machine.
It has been somewhat of a wild ride so far. More (positive news, hopefully) after it arrives!
Thanks for looking. Enjoy!
