Other than being out making images, there is almost nothing better than sitting around with your friends, over coffee or other beverages, and talking photography.
I enjoy just talking all things photographic and, by assimilation all of us get to be better photographers.
We share ideas, experiences, thoughts, problems we have solved as well as laugh a lot, pick on each other and show off our images. We also reinforce each other's talent, desire and vision. We are never selfish with our knowledge. We like to help others so they will have as much fun and enjoyment as the rest of us.
It just does a heart good.
My suggestion is that anytime you have an opportunity, get together with your photography friends and set aside a few hours to sit, enjoy, lean, "chew the fat", tease, laugh and talk photography. You will be a better photographer and your self-confidence will rise.
