Photographic Resources & a Recommendation
www.dennismook.com
I read a number of photographic related blogs each day. Some are vision and technique oriented. Some provide information in how to better use your photographic editing tools. Some are gear oriented and some are industry news and new technology oriented.
I also read a number of non-photographic related blogs each day. Those are mainly science, technology, automobile, cosmology, archaeology and general news oriented.
I think of myself as a lifelong student and try learn something new each day. My interests vary so widely that almost everything has some interest to me. That can be both a benefit and curse. Sometimes I am overwhelmed by the number of articles I read each day. But I am learning something!
If you are a photographer, I wanted to recommend one blog in particular. If you desire to improve your photography, editing ability and technique, I recommend you take some serious time and go back through the archives of this blog and pick out those posts that are of interest to you. There is so much good content on this blog that you can spend days reading and absorbing its value. Ming Thein is a photographer and teacher based out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has a passion for photography similar to mine. Maybe even more, if that is possible. He has authored blog posts that cover just about anything of interest to photographers, especially willfully sharing his knowledge and experience. Again, there is an amazing amount of good photographic content here.
Take a look at his blog. You can find it at: http://blog.mingthein.com. I believe you will be overwhelmed with good information.
If you are interested in what other photographic blogs I read, send a comment and we can share that information. Enjoy!
Thanks for looking.
