On one of my photo wanderings, I discovered this old abandoned farm house. I thought of two things as I stopped to photograph it. I thought of the character left in its architecture—its fight against inevitable destruction, and then I wondered what stories it could tell.
Unfortunately, this old house has now pretty much collapsed in on itself and is no longer photogenic. I'm glad I found it when I did and I'm pleased I stopped to make some photographs of it at the time.
Note: Looking back over some of my Fujifilm X-T1 files — the ones with the 16mp sensor — there is something about those files that look different. Dare I say organic? Hmmm. It might be my imagination but I think this deserves a little more examination...
Thanks for looking. Enjoy!
