We had a bit of an ice storm roll through Virginia yesterday. It wasn’t too bad here in southeastern Virginia until the second round of pouring rain came down last night around 10 p.m. That all froze and added to the little bit of ice we had prior.
Lots of power outages, internet outages, etc., as you would expect. We did fine. Our internet connection was out for a few hours but we experienced no damage. No loss of power for my wife and I. There are millions across the south and east who are not as fortunate and my thoughts are with them.
Of course, being a photographer, I took the opportunity this morning to walk out into my yard and landscaping beds to snap a few photos. That’s what I do!
Another storm coming this weekend. I love snow—grew up in the edge of the Lake Erie snow belt—so I welcome snow. Ice? Not so much. Maybe next weekend we’ll have snow?
Thanks for looking. Enjoy!
