Today Is veteran’s Day

Here in the United States today is Veteran's Day.  It is a day we set aside to remember and thank those who served in our military, whether or not in combat—those who protect and protected our country and the freedoms we cherish.

If you know or see a veteran today, please thank him or her for their service to our nation.  In fact, anytime you see a veteran, thank him or her.

There is a phrase used to describe the United States, "Home of the free and land of the brave."  I think more appropriately the phrase should be, "Home of the free because of the brave."

My personal thanks goes out to every person who is serving or has served in the United States military.
