Midpoint on Route 66. (click any image to enlarge) |
Somewhere in Texas (Adrian, to be exact) is the halfway point between Chicago and Los Angeles. It isn't a big place. In fact, there is just a hotel, cafe and curio shop noting the midpoint in our journey.

Midpoint Curio Shop and roadway signs, in case you miss all of the other signs. Lol. |

Midpoint Cafe. Unfortunately, each time we have stopped here, this place has been closed. We just arrived at the wrong times, evidently. |

The Fabulous 40 Motel! They seemed pretty busy when we were there. |

I love these old signs, especially with an interesting sky for a background. |
We didn’t do much in Texas. I did miss one place I wanted to photograph. I missed it twice before as well. It is a small group of buildings, half in Texas and the other half in New Mexico. I guess I’ll have to return. Now, on to New Mexico!
Thanks for looking. Enjoy!
