Thanksgiving 2024! Be Grateful And Thankful For What You Have

Today is Thanksgiving Day in the United States.  I constantly remind myself that I am thankful and grateful everyday for all the blessings that have come my way throughout, not only this past year, but my entire lifetime.

Typically, today is the day families gather, share the occasion and enjoy the day together.  Our family always expressed our thankfulness for what we had and reminded ourselves to not worry about what others have or what we don't have.  That came first.  Then, we traditionally ate a huge turkey dinner.  Ham is also served by some.  Typically, it seems most people eat too much but it is one day.

Also, I think it is important to not forget those who do not have the wherewithal to have such as glorious meal or those who are down on their luck and may not have any family.

Finally, as I've done in the past, I want to also take a moment to give special thanks to each of you for coming to this blog site over the past year and allowing me to share my words and photographs with you.  Also, thank you for your comments and questions.  I appreciate you.

My hope would be for everyone on earth to be thankful, grateful, thoughtful and kind to one another.

No regular Friday post tomorrow.  I'm taking the weekend off.
