Your Daily Dose Of Fall Foliage Photographs; Number 5

I made this image on Colorado Route 550, also known as the "Million Dollar Highway" between Ouray and Silverton, Colorado.  The color was so intense, no matter what direction one looked, the color could blow out your retinas!  A local photographer I met when photographing told me it was the best color he had seen ever!

I was so fortunate to be there for this spectacular show.  On the 23 mile journey between the two cities, I bet I stopped 30 times to capture the scenery.  It was an extraordinary sight!
