In the United States, today is the day we call Labor Day. We celebrate and are thankful for all of those who labor throughout the year for the benefit of others. A well deserved day of thoughtfulness.
For all of you who are laboring (I'm retired so I no longer qualify), a hearty thank you from me to you. If it weren't for the work ethic of all those who toil each day in whatever job he or she has, the world would cease to exist as we know it.
Here are a variety of images from my files that captures some of those who work hard on a daily basis. You can click on any of them to enlarge the image.

Very fine photographs and appropriate post in tribute to those who keep it all going. The ladies in New Orleans are my favorite image. I can smell the beignets. A whole tray of them.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Those two ladies work very hard and deserve a chance to sit and rest for a while. As you no doubt are aware, always wear white when entering Café DuMonde! There is no way to keep the powdered sugar off one’s clothes! ~Dennis
DeleteDear Dennis,
ReplyDeleteI would like to thank you for the many wonderful posts you regularly share. I thoroughly enjoy reading them, and they provide valuable insights and inspiration for each day and season. The photographs are of exceptional quality, and I can see the great experience that goes into the images and the use of the camera.
I myself am a fan of Fujifilm cameras and started with the X-Pro 1 in June 2012. Today, I love photographing with the X-T5 and the X-100VI. I am looking forward to many more interesting posts from you.
Best regards,
Martin from Embrach, Switzerland. (KI helped me to translate from German into proper English ;-)
Martin, thank you so much for your very kind words. When I read your comment this morning it made my day. I really appreciate you taking time to write. Enjoy your Fujifilm camera and lenses as I still very much enjoy using mine. ~Dennis
