About 50 miles south of Tucson, Arizona, along I-19, lies the Tumacacori National Historical Park. It is an old Spanish Jesuit Mission that dates back to 1691. It is a fascinating group of buildings with on-site burial grounds that makes it not only for its interesting history, but also it is rich in photographic possibilities. I recommend you visit if you are anywhere near that area.
Color works as well as black & white so if color is important to you, by all means photograph the mission buildings and grounds in color.
Thanks for looking. Enjoy!

What a beautiful photo! The luminosity is amazing as well as the tonal range.
ReplyDeleteThank you Paul. It is an “Ansel Adams” kind of place where black & white, to me, fits better than color. Well, worth spending a morning photographing there. I’ll have to post some additional images from my visits. ~Dennis
