Cape Neddick "Nubble" Lighthouse in Maine. (click to enlarge) Fujifilm X-T2; 16-55mm lens @ 22mm; 1.2 sec. @ f/4; ISO 200; 10-stop ND Filter |
Twice I visited this lighthouse twice specifically to photograph it. However, trying to determine exactly where it is officially located, I found the answer to be a bit confusing. Is it in York, Maine? Cape Neddick, Maine? Nubble Island? It seems that maybe all three.
Then there is the name. Is it Nubble Lighthouse or is it Cape Neddick Lighthouse? Again, a bit confusing as to its official name. I see both listed in many places.
In any case it really is inconsequential. The setting is in a beautiful location in the southeastern corner of Maine and worth a photography visit.
I photographed it in both black & white and color. I like both.
Thanks for looking. Enjoy!
