A Few Images From On Or Near The Blue Ridge Parkway In Northern North Carolina

As I mentioned in a previous blog post, my wife and I spent a few days with friends in the Blue Ridge Mountains of northern North Carolina a few weeks ago.  Unfortunately, most of the fall color was gone but I did manage to make a few images that I liked.  Here are a few.

This is the same scene as at the top of this post.  However, for that top shot, I took a bit of 
license and removed the left tree as well as replaced and enhanced the sky.  I'll call
it 'replicating my vision' as to what I wanted it to be. (click to enlarge)
