My Latest Wanderings

It had just stopped raining.  The light was really ugly.  I was driving by and spotted this old store on my left, immediately stopped and backed up.  However, there was little space to get off the road where I wouldn't sink into 6 inches of mud.  I hurriedly made a few images and got on my way.  I will be back to this location early in the morning when the sun will rake across it from the left. 

Just a few images as I try to get out into the local countryside to explore and wander.  Typically, I go out in a general direction and on those small country roads drive deeper into the countryside.  I find enjoyable the possibility of discovering something interesting to photograph.  And....it gets me out of the house on these mostly dreary winter days.

Its fun getting out with no agenda, no specific objectives but just on a mission of discovery.  When I do discover something, it makes me smile.
