It's The Day After Thanksgiving Day...

I saw this as I was driving through a nearby neighborhood.  It's not much, but enough for me to stop
and press my shutter button.  (click to enlarge)

...and I'm still thankful and grateful.  Being thankful and grateful shouldn't be confined to only one day a year.  You should apply it to everyday.

I'm even thankful for this little, mundane, uninteresting late fall scene of the footbridge and creek.  Why?  I may not have seen anything which interested me enough to press the shutter button but I did.

Thanks for looking. Enjoy!

  1. This photograph is quietly, modestly, perfectly beautiful. I would hang it on my wall anytime (if I had a wall!) It is a perfect counterpoint to the "spectacular," overprocessed photographs you wrote about on Nov. 17.

  2. I will add to my previous comment that this photograph will have far more "staying power" on your wall than a so-called "spectacular" landscape. It will give the eye delight and rest every time you walk into the room.

    1. Thanks, Dave. Sometimes very satisfying images can be found right around the corner, so to speak. We just need to be tuned in to our environment.
