Yesterday—Saturday, December 21, 2019—this blog received its 2,000,000th view!  My thanks to each of you for stopping by and visiting.

When I started this little blog on April 3, 2013, the original intention was to keep my family and friends informed of the happenings while my Route 66 road trip.  They had a way to read what I did each day as well as a place for me to post a few images of what I had seen.  From there, I was encouraged to continue and I have.  Now, 1138 posts later, another milestone has been passed.

This blog is by no means very large or very popular when compared to the "big boys" out there.  Nonetheless, I continue to try to provide unbiased, interesting and valuable information about photography so my readers can enjoy photography as much as I have.  It is a way of me trying to help others and to repay all those who have helped me along my photographic journey.

Again, thank you and thanks for looking.  Onward!

Enjoy!

  2. I visit both the big boys and The Wandering Lensman regularly and find the Lensman as personally satisfying as any photoblog out there. For example, you pointed us to the Two Lane Touring site-the polar opposite of a "big boy" site but still a rewarding read. Ming Thein has never done that! Please keep posting and keep wandering!
