They both are long-time, excellent, experienced photographers, long time Nikon shooters but also own and use Fujifilm and Olympus cameras and lenses. In the past their podcasts have mostly been Nikon-centric, but don't be put off by that.
Jason is also a full time professional photographer and educator who specializes in bird photography, nature and landscapes. He also conducts really good workshops, I am told. Rick, also a workshop leader, primarily photographs nature and travel and has visited at least 45 countries.
They both are very knowledgeable, articulate and experienced. If you want to hear a couple of adults talking rationally about photography, this may be the podcast for you. They don't go overboard, praise some gear no matter what nor rake gear over the coals just because it may not be perfect. As I said, two adults carrying on an adult conversation.
They give their website information in the podcast so I won't repeat it here. Please check it out. The podcast is available on all of the popular podcatchers. I subscribed through Apple Podcasts.
Their podcast covers gear as well as other valuable general photographic information such as techniques, travel, wildflowers, nature, etc. However, if you are a Nikon shooter, they have some really in-depth conversations about what Nikon offers—what they use and why.
I don't know if you are interested but I thought I would throw this out there for those of you who might be. I enjoyed their podcast in the past and am happy they are back!
P.S. The eye surgery seemed to have gone well. Too early to tell results. I'm healing.
