Down But Not Out

About 2000 years ago the "powers that be" took drastic action to try to quash Christianity.  Little did they know that not only was Christianity not down and out, but their actions assured its future and spread around the world.  I guess the law of unintended consequences kicked in and taught humanity a valuable lesson.
