A Few More Images From Chincoteague On Virginia's Eastern Shore

I love the colors and how the tables compliment the house and sky.

Whenever I travel, I always keep my eyes open for anything that I may find of visual interest even if my travel is for other photographic purposes.  Two weekends ago, I spent three days on Virginia's Eastern Shore, mainly in the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge, photographing waterfowl.  However, I did manage an hour to prowl around the town of Chincoteague to see what I could see.   Chincoteague is a nice small town, has very friendly residents, some very good seafood restaurants and some of the best ice cream in the entire U.S. (Hint: Island Creamery!  OMG!)

As I promised in my last post, here are some non-wildlife images from the area.  The non-nature images are from the town of Chincoteague.  The rest from the National Wildlife Refuge.  All were made using a Fujifilm X-H1 unless otherwise noted.

I've photographed this tree each year for the past 10 or so years.  Never seems to change!  Just sits there by itself.

There is always something interesting to photograph, no matter what your initial reasons for going out may be.  Just be open to your environment, keep your eyes roaming and don't be afraid to make some cliché images once in a while! 

When looking at the images I posted over the past three or four posts, it really is a shame that an APS-C or M4/3 camera have sensors that are too small and can't possibly make decent images!  At least that is what the Internet gurus would want you to think!  Lol.
