Shutter Therapy

You should be able to find something to photograph, even on a rainy day! (click to enlarge)
It now been heavily overcast, hot, very humid (tropical) and rainy for the past 7 days.  Those brave individuals who forecast the weather are telling us that, for the area in which I live, each day for the next 7 days that the probability for rain is high.  I'm feeling that the weather is starting to affect my normal optimism and jovial daily attitude.  My normal smile is turning to a long face.  But, help is on the way as the Photo Doctor gave me a prescription for some "Shutter Therapy!"

I have found that whenever I'm kind of down, frustrated, feeling gloomy or really bored, all I have to do is grab my camera bag, head out and start looking for interesting subjects to photograph.  As soon as I see something that catches my eye as interesting, my attitude instantly changes.  Every time.  Never fails.  I don't exactly know why but I could be feeling really poorly and the act of seeking out interesting subjects and making some photographs is an instant cure.

I call it "Shutter Therapy."  You should try it sometime.  You might be surprised.
