Reminder To Update The Clocks In Your Digital Cameras
For those of you who use digital cameras and are forced to go through the semi-annual process of switching from Standard Time to Daylight Savings Time and back...and...whose cameras don't automatically make the change, don't forget to change your camera's time setting. (it is also good to check it periodically anyway as in all of the cameras I've owned, as months pass the clocks do not remain very accurate)
Better do it right now or you might again forget! Otherwise, you will be an hour off if you ever need to sort your images by time or refer to the time any particular image was made.
If you already have made a bunch of images and are a Lightroom user, go into the Metadata menu item and LR will allow you to change the time of when the images were made.
Highlight the images that were taken with the wrong time then go to:
Metadata>Edit Capture Time>Shift by a set number of hours (time zone adjust)
You can then shift the time for those images by -1 hour
Thanks for looking. Enjoy!
