In Memoriam

Today is the day in the United States that we set aside to specifically remember and honor those warriors who have died in service to our country.  I have seen all sorts of numbers for the number of service members who have died in combat, in circumstances associated with a war but other than in combat, etc.  The numbers range from 660,000 to 1.2 million.  In any case, a tremendous number of men and women have given their lives because their country asked them to put themselves in harms way.  They gave their last full measure.

A thank you just doesn't seem to be enough.  A single day of remembrance just doesn't seem enough either.
