Yesterday was a glorious way to welcome the spring season. Sunny day, mid-60s F (~18 C) temperatures and to top it off, met two close photographic friends for our periodic breakfast in Williamsburg, VA. After we enjoy breakfast and solving the world's problems, we normally drive the short distance over to the Colonial Parkway National Park to see what we can see and make some images. This time of year the Ospreys are back from their winter migration and either are building or have already built (or improved upon) their nests. I think I saw about 8 Ospreys yesterday.
Here are two images, nothing spectacular of course, of three of the ospreys we saw. It is nice to know the cycle of nature begins anew each spring and we are in a position to take advantage of the renewal of life, color, texture and form.
