Fuji X-T2, A Third Very Useful Feature That Has Largely Gone Unnoticed

Do you want to be able to format your memory cards in a Fuji X-T2 or X-Pro 2 without having to deep dive into the menus each time?  How does one two-button push versus 6 separate button pushes sound?  Here is how.

Turn the camera on.

Press the "Trash Can" symbol (delete button) and hold for three seconds or longer. (That is the key.)

While holding down the delete button, press and hold in the rear command dial.

The format command, giving you the choice of either memory card, should pop up and allow you to format either card.

That is much faster and easier than deep diving into the menu system each time you want to format one or both cards.

This is noted on page 197 of the User's Manual, however, it doesn't mention that one must hold in the delete button for a short period of time before pressing the rear command dial.  If you just press the delete and rear command dial close to simultaneously, the format option will not appear.

As I said, the camera just gets better and better...
