Winter Tree And Shed

One from my archives.  I made this image in the mid-1990s.  This is from a scanned negative.

This was made using a point and shoot Leica Minilux and Kodak ISO 400 color print film. The Minilux has a wonderfully sharp 40mm f/2.4 lens permanently attached to the body and the camera gives you the ability to set apertures and focus distances and not have to use autofocus, if you so desired.  I guess you could say it could be semi-manual in operation. In effect, one could calculate and set a hyperfocal distance and shoot all day without worrying about focus.  It was my favorite 'carry everywhere' film camera.  I shot a lot of Velvia, Ektachrome and Kodachrome with that camera.

I converted this to black and white in Silver Efex Pro 2.

Thanks for looking. Enjoy!
