A Quick Note...

I've never really mentioned this before, but if you notice, there are no advertisements on this site, nor requests for money, requests to purchase items through sponsors or anything of that nature.  I buy all my own gear, test and use it myself and form my own opinions.  I don't ask for money nor do I receive any money, gear, favors, endorsements or anything else from any company or person.

Why do I write this blog and share my experiences and results of my gear tests? Because I love everything about photography and have since I started in 1970.  I share because I derive so much enjoyment out of photography and if I can pass on everything I have learned to you, I am hopeful you will get as much enjoyment out of this craft as do I.

I'm now closing in on 500 posts.  I hope to continue to share my thoughts with all of you for a long time to come.
