This little scene sits in Hackberry, Arizona along Route 66. (click to enlarge) |
After a summer vacation, by popular demand, Monochrome Monday is back! At least until the next hiatus. I hope you enjoy the upcoming black & white images.
This little scene is from Hackberry, Arizona. Hackberry is nothing more than an old 'general store’ (really now a tourist shop that is very old) with a lot of these kinds of Americana around. You will see more from Hackberry in the future.
If you ever travel Route 66 and like photographing these kinds of subjects, make sure you stop in Hackberry, which is between Seligman and Kingman Arizona.

Nice capture. Old vehicles shot in monochrome are the best. Amazing that left rear tire is still holding air.
