I'm Stumped!

Japanese Dogwood Blossoms (click to enlarge)

Instead of writing about something meaningless on inane, I am choosing to not to write about anything today.  I just can't think of a topic of interest and I don't want to waste your time.

In lieu or writing, here are two of my favorite Spring photographs.  These Japanese Dogwood blossoms are from a tree friends gave me in honor of my mother's passing many years ago.  I planted it in our back yard.  A nice reminder of renewed life and beauty in the world.

My apologies to those of you who expect an interesting post.  I'll try for Friday.

  1. This is why I visit your site. A few shots from a trip down Route 66, a drive in the country, a blossom on a tree that memorializes your mother, technically good and personally meaningful. I used to live near Morant's Curve, a great spot to catch trains coming through the Rocky Mountains. My pictures remind me of the quiet of cold early mornings waiting for a train. The pictures are good, the memories better.
