Even While Swimming!

As I walked back toward shore, I spotted this young couple in the water from the pier. The photo speaks for itself.

Are there no longer any simple joys in life that can be had without the presence of a mobile phone or other electronic device?

Thanks for looking. Enjoy!

  1. Dennis, we had a family friends with us at Lake Tahoe. It does not get much more beautiful. We were wake boarding and tubing. Two adults and six 12-25 year olds. If they weren't wake boarding or tubing, they were on their phones. Even while playing games. The engineers behind the mobile phones have succeeded and creating a generation of addicts! Good grief. Stop and enjoy what is going on around you!

  2. Maybe he was just taking pictures of his beautiful girlfriend? Better doing it in front of your subject than stealing a picture from far away....

    1. Thank you for the comment. I was watching this pair for some time and his interest was in what was on his phone and not his companion. In fact, by the time I made this image she was getting a little upset with him for not paying attention to her!
