Today marks the 500th blog post I have made.  Personally, I find that incredible.  What started as a simple way to document a cross-country trip on Route 66 so friends and relatives could follow our progress has now morphed into a full fledged and hopefully informative blog.  To commemorate this blog's origin, I give you one of my original Route 66 images.

My thanks to each of you who read this post.  Often times I thought that there would be no one out there in the land of flowing electrons that would have any interest in what I have to say.  But to my surprise, I have each of you and I am grateful.

I don't have any plans to stop posting.  I enjoy writing about my travels (although I haven't been able to travel this year due to some unusual circumstances, but in January I should be back to my old schedule and am ready to travel), make images, tell you about it as well as buy and test some interesting equipment.

After all, I love travel, exploring places to which I have never been and I have a burning passion for photography.

Sincerely, I want to say...

Thanks for looking. Enjoy!
